Veg Boxes From £3 At Morrisons

Morrisons is launching three veg boxes, the cheapest of which being £3 and said to be able to feed a family of four for a week. The boxes will be available across Britain from 28th September and will be available for order online from 2nd October.
The standard box, for £5, contains 4.2kg of vegetables, including carrots, onions, cauliflower and swede, savoy, courgettes and leeks. So that’s quite a bit of veg for your money. The other boxes will contain a similar amount and are priced at £3 and £8.
Morrisons will be leading the charge as the first supermarket chain to adopt something like this. With food banks being a growing issue, this is a cheap way to get some healthy food on a budget.
Good job Morrisons, although I stand by the fact I’ve eaten enough of your hot takeaway meals to put myself off for life.
