Do you love girl bands, history and tonnes of laughter? If so, you’re in the right place. Six takes the form of a pop concert, where six wives form a competition. The criteria for the competition is who had the worst experience with their husband, Henry the Eighth.
The wives take turns singing a song about why they had the worst time with their King husband. The writer duo, known as Marlow and Moss – Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss –

Six is currently located in the Arts Theatre in London. However, it will be touring the UK, stopping off in cities including Bath, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The show runs for 75 minutes with no interval, so here are some top tips to stay happy during the performance: go to the toilet (I’d recommend going to the Pret across the road as the theatre has very small toilets); bring water as the Arts only holds around 200 people, it can get a bit cramped; and, finally, don’t eat sweets during the show – I promise you will agitate every person in the theatre (including the Queens).
I would recommend Six for ages over eleven due to the fact that it contains mild language. This is a great show for teenagers, families and couples.
Be sure to book the tickers in advance – I hope you enjoy the musical and become part of the Queendom… AKA the Six fan club.
