Restaurant Review: Tango, Durham

4.5/5
With the Easter holidays in full swing, lots of families in the northeast will be looking for places to take a day-trip to. The historical city of Durham is a great place for a family day out, and Tango, a burger restaurant located on Elvet Bridge, is the perfect place to stop by for a meal.
For starters, Tango is dog-friendly, so you can take your beloved four-legged friend into the restaurant without having to worry. This is also the case with many places in Durham, but dogs are especially welcome at Tango with a little box of dog treats located near the entrance in memory of a passed dog.
When it comes down to the food, though, Tango impresses in that area too. It is one million times better than Fat Hippo, another popular burger restaurant in Durham, with much better burger combos, sides and drinks. If you want a simple burger, they’ve got them. If you want a big, fat burger – they’ve got those too…in all varieties.
Service at Tango is also brilliant. Staff are friendly and quick, serving drinks in cool jars with paper straws – something that’s very much ‘in’ these days. We love them for it and definitely recommend this restaurant whenever you find yourself in Durham.
