Peanut butter is AMAZING. It’s high in protein, but even higher in deliciousness. It’s vegan, so no need to worry about the ethical consideration, and filled with the nutrients we need, such as potassium, iron and magnesium.
For most of us, however, the role of peanut butter never changes from that of a sandwich filler (with or without a fruity jam, mmm!). At b**p, we think this is a serious waste of the potential of this king of foods. Here are our top ten ways to consume peanut butter. Let us know which options we’ve missed!
1) In ice cream. Cheap version – mix vanilla ice cream and peanut butter and stick it back in the freezer.
2) In breakfast cereal – why don’t we have this in the UK?
3) Straight from the jar with a finger or a spoon!
4)As a layer of secret icing in a chocolate cake. Coz what goes better with peanut butter than chocolate?
5)Oh yes, that’s right. PURE peanut butter and chocolate.
6) Toast turns it into a balanced breakfast.
7) Or turning into biscuits makes it an unbalanced and high sugar delight!
