Injustice 2 Adds Another DLC Pack

As expected, the trailer for the next pack of characters for Injustice 2 has dropped, showcasing the three new characters coming to the roster, one of which we didn’t expect at all.

Raiden is essentially a lighting boy. He really likes it. And we’re all agreed, he looks really heckin’ stupid.

The trailer begins with the previous pack’s heroes having the snot kicked out of them, with Red Hood and Sub-Zero being thrown against a wall. It is then revealed that the character doing the throw down is being done by none other than Raiden, who is also from Mortal Kombat.

After he finishes with Zero, Black Manta, the enemy of Aquaman, shows up and starts firing missiles around the place. Then, cut to one such rocket being snatched out of the air by a big red fist, and we have none other than Hellboy himself stood there.

Black Manta is a sea boy. He has rocket launchers. It’s pretty sick.

An odd choice of characters, but we’re into it. Hellboy hasn’t really had that much in the way of games (or at least any that were good) so it’s good to see him in something that doesn’t suck.

Some fans are a bit miffed that prime spots for DC characters are going to Mortal Kombat characters, which is understandable. DC has some really cool characters that just don’t make the cut here, unfortunately. People have speculated that the next pack will include Spawn, a character we seldom see anymore but is still part of that universe.

Spawn is like that weird cousin who seems really cool, but then you realise he’s a man possessed by a demon and makes things awkward.

I played a bit of Injustice 2 recently actually and what I played I enjoyed. The move sets feel good to pull off and look really cool when doing it. Plus, Batman rules and Deadshot is still overpowered as heck.

Expect for them to be available in the next few months.
