The Rock Honored on Walk of Fame

After years in the film industry, becoming a WWE legend and a social media powerhouse, Dwayne Johnson is finally being honoured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
His star is 2,624th on the famous Los Angeles pavement, becoming the second person with a wrestling connection to do so. The first was Vince McMahon.

‘This is such a monumental moment and significant time for me,’ Dwayne Johnson said.
The Rock made his debut as a wrestler in the 90s, moving into film roles soon after. He starred in The Mummy Returns, The Scorpion King in the early days of his career. Johnson played the antagonist in DOOM, the 2006 film adaption of the popular video-game. Recently, he starred in The Jungle Book and will have the lead role in Rampage next year.
He’s also going to star as Black Adam in an upcoming DC movie.

he still participates in wrestling occasionally. Most recently he was in WrestleMania 32, where he beat his opponent Erick Rowan in six seconds.
It’s a big deal for anyone, but especially this tall muscle-bound man. He’s humble, always smiling and appreciative of his fame.
If anyone deserves a star it’s him.
